Dear Reader,
This week's Love Letter is all about words and the power they have to either make or break our lives.
If that sounds over-dramatic to you, think again! Our thoughts - whether positive or negative - shape our biology, our cells, our entire life! Did you know we can think ourselves into depression and stress? We definitely can. That must mean that we can also think ourselves out of anxiety, stress and depression, too! This is most certainly the case and there are various methods to do so. I will cover those in future Love Letters, so be sure to subscribe so you won’t miss out!
Everything in this world is ENERGY!
I am energy.
You are energy.
Light is energy.
Animals, plants, insects - they are all energy.
Music is energy.
Money is energy.
Our thoughts are energy.
And so are our words. Very powerful energy.
We can either use the energy of our words to have a beautiful life on this planet, or we can use it to destroy our very existence and everything around us.
What about success?
Our words influence our success! In his book, "What To Say When You Talk To Your Self", Dr. Shad Helmstetter says that we've been trying all along to create success using "rules of success", but actually that's not how our brains are wired to work.
So how ARE they wired to work then?... 👀
It's all down to MENTAL PROGRAMMING.
And it starts at a very young age.
Scientists agree that much of what we do every day is programmed by what influential people said to us in our younger years. As children, we suck up this programming like sponges, rarely questioning its validity. We just hear, trust, and accept whatever we are told. This enters our subconscious mind on a deep level and affects every word we say, every action we take, as well as every memory, every feeling and every word we tell ourselves.
So how successful (or unsuccessful) we become at something down the track will depend on the words and beliefs about ourselves that our subconscious mind has stored inside itself. It is a cocktail of a lifetime of other people's words, images and ideas, especially those of our families, our school teachers, people we hung out with, our religion, our workplace, the internet, the news, and advertising!
According to Dr. Helmstetter’s book, researchers concluded that as much as 75% of all illnesses are self-induced, and 77% of everything we think is negative!
Repeated enough times, those words shape us into the person we are. If those beliefs are positive, we tend to become successful, happy, strong people, full of energy and optimism.
If they're negative, though, guess what?.... We tend to be full of pessimism, depression, lack of confidence, hopelessness, anxiety, and exhausted on all levels!
OUCH! 😧
No wonder so many of us grow up being uncomfortable in our own skin, so to speak.
When our own minds are not really our own anymore, we start to ask questions like:
"Why am I so tired all the time?..."
"Where did my sense of adventure go?..."
"Where did my fearlessness go?..."
"Where did my living in the moment escape to?..."
"Why am I living a life I don't want to live, anyway??..."
Of course there are people that never question things and continue to wallow in misery and hopelessness, unaware that they have all the power in the world to change their life for the better. Such people tend to live in the past or the future, complaining about how bad the present world is. Life continues to pass them by and they often develop physical problems that are justified by the misconception of “getting older”.
Then there are those who question things but have no idea where to begin, seeing mountains in front of them instead of molehills.
And then there's YOU! 😃
People like you have been attracted to this exact newsletter for a reason; you know there’s more out there and you won’t relax until you get some answers. Answers without the fluff.
Neuroplasticity saves the day!
Neuroscientists have conducted an incredible amount of research over the last 40+ years to better understand the mind. Their discoveries about the infinite possibilities of our minds are phenomenal, ‘cause we can now see that we do indeed have a lot of power over our minds and can change those old, limiting patterns we've been carrying around with us for so long. These breakthroughs have now been accepted as solid proof that we have the power to create our own reality - that limitless, ecstatic, wonderful life we've always dreamt of!
Only we have to first we need to get rid of our negative self-talk that we've been conditioned to using our entire lives.
AND WE HAVE TO DO THE WORK. EVERY DAY. TO TURN OUR LIFE AROUND.
The great news is that it couldn't be easier! And the results are GUARANTEED!! 😃
I got there. I have friends who got there. I have family members who got there. I’ve been to numerous training sessions where I’ve met many people who have got there.
And then I have people around me who did not get there because they were not prepared to do the work. You can’t imagine their state of sadness.
Which group do you want to belong to? The one creating the life of their dreams, or the one that remains a victim of their own circumstances? ...
It’s time to re-wire our brain:
To do that we start by becoming conscious of the words we use with ourselves and others from now on.
WORDS SAFE TO USE = High-energy words:
Use high-energy words that will attract positive people, circumstances, situations and good health to you and those who happen to hear them.
High-energy words have been proven to enhance our immune systems and even programme the water we drink, swim and shower in, as Dr. Emoto describes in a fascinating book that one of my best friends had gifted me a couple of years ago.
Some examples to use:
I am ____________ (e.g. clever; full of energy; rich; amazing; perfectly health, etc.)
You are _________ (e.g. beautiful; awesome; amazing; so sweet, etc.)
I have __________ (e.g. plenty of time; beautiful hair; a good memory, etc.)
I can ___________ (e.g. do this; play guitar well; remember everything, etc.)

Dr Emoto has found that certain combinations of words, like "love" and "thank you" even have the power to cleanse water! Now that's amazing! I’m off to try that out on our tap water! 💧
WORDS TO NEVER USE = Low-energy words:
They only attract negative people, circumstances, situations and even health to us and to anyone who hears them.
Low-energy words have a very strong effect on every area of our lives. They can destroy our immune systems and, as you now know, programme the water we drink, swim and shower in negatively!
Examples of words to never use:
I am _______ (broke; stupid; stressed-out; miserable; screwed up; weird; fat; dumb; tired; an idiot, etc.)
You _______ (make me sick; make me wanna throw up; drive me crazy, give me a headache, etc)
You _______ (idiot; annoy me; are disgusting; are a pain in the neck, etc)
My back ______ (hurts; is killing me; is f&%*d, is always stiff, etc)
I _______ you (hate; can't stand; despise, etc)
I'm gonna _______ him/her/them/it (kill; make them pay; etc)
